The 42nd annual Cooperstown Sports Booster Club's All Sports Banquet was held Friday night in the Sterling Auditorium at the high school.
As athletic director Mike Cring said in his opening remarks, the school's teams had noteworthy seasons both on the field and off.
"We had 72 scholar/athletes and 14 scholar/athlete teams this school year," Cring said. "It's quite a tribute to our scholar/athletes to juggle so many activities."
Some notable achievements on the field included cross country runner Steve Carlson qualifying for the state meet for the second consecutive year; the girls track team winning the Center State title; pole vaulter Stephanie Smith qualifying for the state meet for the second straight year; the baseball team's run to the Section Three Class C-1 finals; and league and sectional tennis titles won by the doubles teams of Reid Snyder and Finn Dusenbery, a league title won by the doubles team of Andrew Havlik and Liz May and a sectional title won by Havlik and Ravi Dalal.
