The Cooperstown Fire Department would like to thank everyone that donated to the Food Drive. This year’s food drive was an overwhelming success. We were able to supply the local food bank with several truckloads of food. Thank you for your generous donations.

Survey well received

On behalf of the Fly Creek Firefighters and EMS Squad, I wish to thank the residents of the Fly Creek Fire District for the warm reception we received this past weekend as we conducted our survey of smoke alarms. You all were very gracious and welcoming and willing to answer our questions. I wish we could have stayed for coffee that was so generously offered but we had many homes to visit. We tested many smoke alarms and were pleased to see that the majority were in working order. We have submitted our application for our grant and will let you know the outcome.
