"We’re just chugging along," said supervisor Tom Breiten. "It’s getting there."

Breiten said the committee continues to meet almost every Thursday night and is working to edit the document. A draft of the document is available on the town’s website at http://townofotsego.com/currentissues.htm.

Before the comprehensive plan is adopted by the town board, there will be two public hearings..

Breiten previously said the comprehensive planning committee would likely hold a hearing on the plan, make revisions as needed and then submit it to the town board for approval.

The town board would then hold a public hearing as well, before voting on the document.

Breiten said it was not yet definite when the plan would be completed.

The town planning board meets again next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the town office building and the town board meets next Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
