Check in with the Winter Carnival headquarters at the village fire house for more information or changes in the schedule due to weather or other circumstances. The turnout wasn't so great at last weekend's festivities, said deputy village clerk Asa Guhl.

"The Chocolate Lover's Festival was great," said Guhl. "But the dance wasn't so well attended and it was freezing on Saturday, which might explain the low turnout at the parade. Friday night at The Bistro was a lot of fun. They had an excellent band. We think the turnout in general will be better this weekend. There are a lot of great events coming up."

Guhl said that the results from all Winter Carnival events will be made available after the second weekend.
